Just spending my Friday night searching the internet for original art from Paul Smith’s run on Uncanny X-Men, aka my favorite comics of all time.
I found this blog post by the guy who owns this page. This is from Uncanny X-Men #168, “Professor Xavier Is A Jerk,” and it’s one of the greatest issues of X-Men ever and also one of my favorites. And this page, this page right here, is like, a big deal for me. I remember reading this for the first time when I was eight years old, and seeing that top panel of Kitty’s motion, and just being blown away by it. The motion Paul Smith captures in a still image is like, nuts. And then the emotion and body language he gives Kitty, Stevie and Illyana? Are you kidding me?
And this is just a thing this guy owns! He bought it! He has it! Owning this just blows my mind away. I can’t handle it.
